Rare Half-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "JY", James Yaughn, Crawford County, GA, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical jug with flared spout, the surface in a mottled light-olive and dark-brown colored alkaline glaze. Impressed "JY" on handle. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. A long T-shaped hairline at base on reverse, which extends across underside and approximately 4" up front of jug. H 9 1/2".
