Four Advertising Stoneware Match Safes, attributed to the Whites Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, one with two-sided advertising featuring a flying eagle for the "AMERICAN BREW CO. / ROCHESTER, N.Y"; one with two-sided advertising for "WESTCOTT & PARKER / DEALERS IN COAL & WOOD / UTICA, N.Y."; one with the advertising slogan, "SMOKE / LaFlor De Lighton. / 100. CIGAR. / C. FRANK LIGHTON, Syracuse, N.Y."; and one with the advertising slogan "COMPLIMENTS OF / Jordan / NO 1422 7TH ST NW". Provenance: Robert Meltzer Collection. All in excellent condition.
