One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "PAUL: CUSHMAN", Albany, NY origin, early 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and applied tab handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt accent on the front and reverse and a cobalt highlight running along the top of each handle. Impressed with large coggled Paul Cushman maker's mark at shoulder. Excellent condition with some in-the-firing chipping to bottom edge and two small chips to top of rim.
