One-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "W.H. HANCOCK", Moore County, NC origin, late 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and flared rim, the shoulder impressed with the maker's mark of Moore County, NC potter, William Henry Hancock. In-the-firing bubbled spots to surface, many of which have burst. A minor, in-the-firing chip to underside at edge.
