Three-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Water Cooler with Cobalt Floral Decoration, possibly S. Blair, Cortland, NY, circa 1830, ovoid, jug-form cooler with applied open handles and circular bung hole, decorated with a brushed drooping tulip motif at the shoulder. A 7/8" in-the-firing contact mark / chip to reverse. A tight Y-shaped line at base to right of bung hole and a faint line at base to right to left of bung hole. Two in-the-firing iron pings to front. H 16".
