Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, American, probably Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the interior decorated with a band of wavy yellow slip stripes flanked by four foliate designs. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Rim with a few small chips and light wear. Glazed-over 1 3/4" surface line from edge, not visible on underside. Glazed and slip-decorated surface survives in excellent condition with minimal wear. Diameter 10 3/4".
