Rare Small-Sized Multi-Glazed Redware Creamer, Strasburg, VA, origin, circa 1890, ovoid-bodied pitcher with pronounced foot, flaring collar, shoulder molding, and incised line at midsection. Covered in streaks of cream, green, and brown, over an orange ground with clear lead overglaze. Made at the J. Eberly or S. Bell & Son pottery. Very desirable size. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Rim wear and glazed-over (in-the-making) base chip. Height 4 1/4".
