Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "HART BRO'S. / FULTON N.Y.", circa 1880, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed design of a stem bearing leaves. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A salt drip near base on side of jar. Wear and a small chip to inner rim where a lid would rest. An in-the-firing chip to top of rim.
