Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, Stamped "T. HARRINGTON / LYONS", New York State origin, circa 1860, highly-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed cobalt design of a leaf with crossed stem. Brushed number "3" below spout. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. As-made condition. Some fairly small, in-the-firing contact marks / chips to right and left sides of jug. A chip to bottom edge. In-the-firing discoloration to right side and base on left side.
