Three-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, attributed to the B.F. Landrum Pottery, Horse Creek Valley, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1850, highly-ovoid jug with stepped spout and high-arching handle, the surface covered in a mottled olive and dark-brown alkaline glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with typical minor base wear. H (to top of handle) 12 1/4".
