Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Pitcher, attributed to S. Bell & Son or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid pitcher with footed base, flared collar, and tooled body, decorated with streaks of cream-colored slip and overlying copper and manganese. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. This pitcher exhibits strong color and a brilliant luster to the lead glaze. A 2" hairline from rim on reverse. Minor rim wear. A few shallow base chips. H 6 3/4".
