Fine Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with tooled foot and collar, decorated with a two-stemmed floral motif. Collar decorated with several cobalt leaves and brushwork at the spout. Additional hanging leaf design below spout. Handle terminals decorated with cobalt. Strong color and elaborate decoration. Near mint condition with a 1 1/2" X-shaped line to right of handle, which probably occurred in the making. H 9 3/8".
