Fine Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with stepped collar molding and flared rim, decorated with an elaborate fuchsia vine design extending completely around the body. Collar moldings accented with freehand stripes. Rim decorated with freehand drape motifs. Handle decorated with freehand stripes. Excellent size, form, and decoration. Two small rim chips on reverse. Shallow in-the-firing chipping around base. H 5".
