Fine Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, highly-ovoid pitcher with short, nicely-tooled collar, decorated in Albany slip with a large sweeping fuchsia vine design around the body. Inverted drape and stripe decoration to collar. Appealing form and strong decoration. Excellent condition with a 1" in-the-firing worn section to rim, which is partially glazed-over. H 8".
