Fine Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, unusual cylindrical-bodied pitcher with ornately-turned collar and flared rim, decorated around the body with three flowers emanating from a looping stem. Freehand stripes above and below. Collar elaborately decorated with dashes, inverted drape motifs, and stripes. Handle decorated with additional freehand stripes. Exceptional form with strong decoration. Excellent condition with a minor nick on side of rim. H 5 1/2".
