Three Western PA Stoneware Jars, circa 1875, a canning jar with stenciled shield motif and maker's stenciling "T.F. REPPERT. / SUCCESSOR TO / J. HAMILTON & Co / GREENSBORO, PENN."; a cylindrical jar stenciled "ENEIX & EVANS. / NEW GENEVA. / PA"; and a canning jar stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO, PA" with stylized stenciled foliate motif. Reppert jar with restoration to base on right side of jar, a contact mark to left side of jar's front, and small chips to inner rim where a lid would rest. H (of Reppert jar) 9 3/4". Eneix & Evans jar with a 1 1/4" chip and a smaller chip on interior of rim, a 1 1/2" hairline to base, which forms a 2" L on underside, in-the-firing contact marks on reverse, and a 2 1/2" in-the-firing chip / contact mark with raised clay residue. Williams & Reppert jar with chips to interior of rim and minor nicks to inner wax sealer rim. H (of Reppert jar) 9 3/4".
