Five-Gallon Stoneware "Ice Water" Cooler with Man's Head Bunghole, attributed to the Wingender Pottery, Haddonfield, NJ, late 19th century, keg-form cooler with coggled banding, the midsection incised with the inscription, "Ice Water", flanked by incised vine, the base with molded spigot in the form of a man's head with mustache. Impressed "5." at base. Cobalt highlights throughout. Includes metal spigot. Water glass staining to surface. A 1" chip to interior of rim. An in-the-firing contact mark to right side. H 14 1/4".
