Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Chicken Pecking Corn Decoration, attributed to Brady & Ryan, Ellenville, NY, circa 1885, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a chicken pecking kernels of corn from a stylized ground. A salt drip to front, touching chicken's head. A small rim chip. A lightly-discolored area to front.
