Two Pieces of West Virginia Stoneware, circa 1875-1885, a three-gallon churn with stenciled cobalt signature "A.P. Donaghho / Parkersburg, W.V."; paired with a one-gallon advertising jug, stenciled "LOUIS P FROBE / WINES AND LIQUORS / 1041 MARKET ST. / WHEELING W VA". Churn with long crack to right side of front, wear to surface and handles, wear to interior of rim, and two base chips. Jug with restored handle, dryness and discoloring to cobalt, and large, shallow in-the-firing flakes to base.
