Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "N CLARK JR. / ATHENS NY", circa 1860, cylindrical crock with flared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed tulip plant extending from a stylized lawn. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 1" chip to one handle. An in-the-firing iron ping to shoulder. A small rim chip. Wear to interior of rim.
