Rare Small-Sized Redware Jug with Bold Yellow Slip Circle Decoration, Galena, IL origin, second half 19th century, second half 19th century, squat-formed jug with distintive tooled spout and applied strap handle, decorated on two sides with a large yellow slip circle resembling a full moon. Excellent color, decoration, size, and form. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 5 3/4".
