One-and-a-Half-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Cream Jar, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT / GREENSBORO / PA," circa 1885, ovoid jar with semi-rounded rim, featuring Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling, freehand and stenciled decoration, and a freehand "1 1/2" at base. Jar includes brighter-than-usual cobalt for this maker. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
