Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Beanpot with Applied Grapes Decoration, Incised on Underside "AM," Arie Meaders, White County, GA origin, third quarter 20th century, squat-shaped, ovoid form with flared rim, the front and reverse decorated with a fine applied design of grapes flanked by leaves with curled vines. Streaky greenish alkaline glaze throughout with darker highlights to leaves. Chipping around base, which appears to be in-the-firing. Otherwise excellent condition. H 4 5/8" ; Diameter (at base) 4 5/8".
