Cold-Painted Redware Bee Skep Bank, probably American, late 19th century, molded in the form of a bee skep with bees, resting on three feet with carved slot at shoulder and on underside, the surface in original brown and yellow paint. Heavy damage around slot in underside to removed coins. Additional reglued section around top to removed coins from slot at shoulder. H 4".
