Redware Plate with Two-Color-Slip Tulip Decoration, Dryville, PA origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, decorated with a large stylized tulip design in green and brown slip. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, recently found in Pennsylvania. Three hairlines from rim, two measuring 2 1/2" and one measuring 2". Light surface wear and light rim wear. A minor in-the-firing chip to rim. Diameter 8 1/2".
