One-Gallon Stoneware Cream Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG PA," circa 1865, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a brushed drooping tulip design. Two rim chips. Some fry to tips of decoration. Long tight horizontal hairline at base. Large black marker notation on underside.
