Two Pieces of Harrisburg, PA Stoneware with Cobalt Decoration, circa 1865-1880, a one-gallon jug with brushed conical floral design, stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA"; paired with a three-gallon cream jar with stenciled diamond design, stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG". Jug with fry to cobalt, a salt drip to side, a small glazed-over base chip, and a black marker inscription on underside. Jar with exfoliation to shoulder area, primarily on reverse, two chips to one handle, one chip to opposite handle, and chips on interior of rim.
