Fine Redware Plate with Two-Color Slip Decoration, Pennsylvania origin, 19th century, large-sized plate with coggled edge, the interior decorated with alternating trails of yellow and green slip. Folky decoration and outstanding condition. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example from a forty-year Mid-Atlantic antiques collection. Some shallow rim chips. Glazed surface survives in excellent condition. D 11 1/8".
