Rare Railroad Worker Spongeware Presentation Mug, attributed to the Pfaltzgraff Pottery, early 20th century, flared mug with sponge-decorated surface and silhouetted design of a flag bearing the brushed inscription "J. Keller / R.F. of E. / Wyo. Div." This mug was made for Joseph Keller, Road Foreman of Engines, Wyoming Valley (PA) Division of the Lehigh Valley Railroad. Keller assumed this role in 1901. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 3 7/8".
