Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, fourth quarter 19th century, a three-gallon Midwestern crock with slip-trailed "3" and "bee stinger" decoration, paired with a three-gallon jug, stenciled "E.S. & B. / NEW BRIGHTON, PA". Crock with 2 3/4" x 1 3/8" chip to underside at bottom edge of crock, a small salt drip to rim, chips to interior of rim, a 1" chip to end of one handle, and a faint 4" line to reverse. Jug in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a black marker notation on underside.
