Fine Rockingham-Glazed Presentation Frog Pitcher, Embossed "DR. REEVES," attributed to the Swan Hill Pottery, South Amboy, NJ, 19th century, with raised hunt scene and twig handle, the surface covered in a streaky amber-and-brown glaze, the front with the applied white lettering "DR. REEVES". White-glazed interior with applied blue-and-brown-glazed frog. Loss to one front leg of frog and other lesser chips to frog. Otherwise excellent condition with a minor rub at base of handle. H 9 1/2".
