Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to William Morgan, Baltimore, circa 1820-1825, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, footed base, and rounded rim, decorated with a circumferential slip-trailed design of daisy blossoms conjoined by dotted stems, below a wavy line. Excellent color and strong decoration. Excellent condition with some minor chipping to base.
