Two New Jersey Stoneware Crocks, second half 19th century, a three-gallon crock with cobalt floral design on reverse, stamped "A.J. BUTTLER / MANUFACTURER / NEW-BRUNSWICK, N.J.", paired with an unsigned one-and-a-half-gallon crock with cobalt floral decoration, inscribed "1 1/2". Buttler crock with some staining, two rim chips, short line at base, a C-shaped surface line at midsection on reverse, and a 3" hairline from rim. One-and-a-half-gallon crock with a rim chip, in otherwise excellent condition.
