Fine Redware Dish with Three-Color Slip Decoration, American, possibly Hagerstown, MD or North Carolina origin, early 19th century, with rounded rim molding, the interior decorated with wavy trails of brown and green slip besie circular trails of cream-colored slip. Provenance: Ex-Harry B. Hartman Antiques. Small edge chips. Some in-the-firing warping to edge. A 1 1/2" stone ping on underside. Glazed surface survives in excellent condition. H 2 1/2" ; Diameter 11 1/8".
