Very Rare Diminutive Stoneware Presentation Pitcher, Stenciled "E.W.C.," New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, fourth quarter 19th century, tankard-form pitcher with tooled rim and applied handle, decorated with brushed cobalt stripe, spot, and drape motifs. Additional cobalt brushwork to handle and U-shaped group of spots below. Stenciled in block letters across the front "E.W.C.". Excellent size, form, and decoration. Excellent condition with a minor nick to spout, some tight surface lines on interior base area, not visible on exterior, and a 3/8" line from rim on reverse, possibly in-the-firing. H 5 1/4".
