Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry K. Atchison, New Geneva, PA, circa 1860, tapered jar with incised banding around midsection, semi-squared rim, and unusual pocket handles, the front decorated with a brushed cobalt looping vine design between freehand stripes. Restoration to right handle. Chipping to left handle. Significant restoration to rim and some additional restoration to body, including some touch-up to cobalt.
