Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoraton, Stamped "S. HART / FULTON," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a folky slip-trailed design of a bird with spotted body, perched on a stylized looping line design. Slip-trailed "3" with flourish above the bird. Essentially as-made condition with an iron ping to front. Small traces of old red paint to side.
