Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with freehand stripes, small stenciled tulips and flourishes, and a freehand "2" at base, flanked by freehand dashes. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
