Small-Sized Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Southeastern U.S. origin, possibly Edgefield, SC, 19th century, ovoid form with flared collar and incised wavy line decoration around the midsection, the surface covered in a streaky greenish alkaline glaze. A shallow chip and some roughness to spout. In-the-firing stone ping to shoulder. Some small chips to base. H 5".
