Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1865, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a boldly slip-trailed crested parrot with spotted tail perched on a leaf. Outstanding color. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some light staining to left side.
