One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WM. MOYER.," Harrisburg, PA, circa 1858, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt tulip. Excellent size and color. Long sealed curving crack on reverse. Chipping to inner rim where a lid would rest. A few very minor base nicks. Two small shallow chips on interior of rim. Small iron ping to shoulder.
