Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "RIEDINGER & CAIRE / POUGHKEEPSIE, NY," circa 1865, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed flowering plant bearing multiple blossoms. Excellent condition with two spout nicks, a typical contact mark to top of handle, some staining, and a glazed-over dent at base.
