Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "OHIO STONE / MANUFACTURED / BY, C. BACHELDER / MENASHA WIS.," circa 1860, cylindrical jug with tapered spout molding, decorated with a large brushed tulip extending from a leafy stem. Excellent color. Difficult-to-find Wisconsin maker's mark. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a contact mark on top of handle and a small contact mark to front.
