Impressive Ten-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jug with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WESTHAFER & LAMBRIGHT," Tuscawaras County, OH origin, circa 1865, ovoid jug with wide mouth and open handles, decorated on one side with a brushed floral design, featuring a fern-shaped blossom surrounded by dots, emanating from a group of leaves. Reverse with cobalt highlighted maker's mark above an impressed "10". Excellent size and form with strong decoration. Excellent condition with some small, shallow rim chips.
