Very Rare Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "J. SWANK & CO. / JOHNSTOWN, PA," circa 1870, ovoid pitcher with tall collar accented with a tooled rim, the front decorated with a brushed sweeping tulip design in the Swank style. Spout decorated with vertical cobalt swags. Front impressed "J. SWANK & CO. / JOHNSTOWN, PA" above a large half-gallon capacity mark.
