Very Rare Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Incised Decoration of Flying Birds flanking a Flowering Plant, attributed to Branch Green, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1820, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, decorated with an artistic incised design of a flowering plant with two birds flying toward it. Highly unusual decoration. Excellent condition with some minor nicks to spout and some typical in-the-firing contact marks. H 14 3/4".
