Rare Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, possibly Hagerstown, MD, early 19th century, with footed base and rounded rim, the interior decorated with a cream and brown slip decoration in the Hagerstown style. Clear lead overglaze. 6" sealed crack from rim. Glazed interior survives in very nice condition with some in-the-firing contact marks. Diameter 11 1/2".
