One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "CORTLAND," Madison Woodruff and Romanzo Smith, Cortland, NY, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical jug with rounded shoulder and squared spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed cobalt daisy featuring spotted petals. Excellent condition with a minor spout chip, the bottom edge also with a minor chip and minor nick.
