Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and squared spout, decorated with a large and impressive slip-trailed design of a crested bird with long tail, perched on a leaf.
