Two Pieces of Northeastern U.S. Stoneware, 19th century, a two-gallon cylindrical jar with abstract cobalt foliate decoration, NJ origin; paired with a four-gallon pail-shaped crock with cobalt foliate designs on front and reverse. Two-gallon jar with three short lines in rim and one short line in base, none of which are visible on interior. Four-gallon crock with rim chips, a few base chips, and a very large top-to-bottom crack, which also extends along base and onto reverse side of crock.
